I got some hello kitty toothpaste and shoe freshener with my cornflakes.
It’s weird, I’ve only been here 2 weeks but I feel like it’s been way longer. I know all the foreign staff and funnily enough am bonding with the Korean staff despite being new. I think it helps that one of the guys set up a game of Assassins and 24 of us signed up. So far 8 or 9 are down and I finally got my “target” last night. >:D
One of the Korean guys has me and he’s super frustrated and kind of ridiculously easy to read. Also me and one of the girls freaked him out when he was going downstairs or something— we kinda waved and he froze and started turning. Then someone yelled “GET HIM!!” and he ran like crazy to get his spoon (your safety in the game) from his room. At this point I was just laughing in a heap on the floor.
Yesterday we had a company day out for hiking, joku, dragon tail game and paid lunch so gameplay was suspended until midnight but people still brought their spoons, including the boss-lady from our office. XD Some of us were drinking so around 1am the antics turned into a tomfoolery and then my joku team leader (aka COACH OPPA~~~) showed up.
Today basically was a lazy day in and I wanted to try spending less money so we’ll see how that goes. I’m waiting for my ARC so I can get a bank account and a shiny new phone.
Next week I start my Tues-Sat rotation (3 day weekend!!) and possibly look into meeting up with the dongsaeng. I’m also going to the ballet at the Seoul Art Centre so I have something to get dressed up for that isn’t an 80s party.
